Where Learning is Limitless

Baltimore Free School A Project of Baltimore Free School

The Baltimore Free School is really free.

Free of charge and free of judgment. With free access to technology, free educational courses and a free exchange of ideas.

That’s a whole lot of freedom.

The Baltimore Free School believes that the empowerment of people of all ages and backgrounds to share and learn is vital to the health of a community.  At BFS, the public can take classes in a range of topics and learn to relate to each other in new and meaningful ways.

BFS is planning to open a resource center equipped with a library, study spaces, and wireless internet.   They need our help to provide this valuable space to meet and study, leading to deeper understanding and growth.

As a free public space, this will benefit everyone.  Let’s help The Baltimore Free School grow their resource and ensure that the free school stays free!

How can you help?

Your gift of $29 will cover the operation cost for a week.

Your gift of $42 will provide wireless internet for a month.

Your gift will also help BFS to make necessary repairs and renovations to the space and purchase desks, chairs, and other furniture. Make sure to stop by BFS in the next few weeks and check out the resource that you made happen.  Take a class, teach a class, enjoy the freedom!

Videographer Joel Tomar Levin created the video below of one of the Free School's activities at our Artscape Lecture Series this year of Charlie Cooper and Betty Robinson leading an exercise demonstrating wealth inequality.
